5 Things to Declutter This Week: January 27
Old Musical Instruments: Do you have any musical instruments that you used to play but no longer do? Or something you wanted to learn but never able to really commit? In either case, if you’re not getting use out of it, consider giving it to someone who will or even donate it to a school music program.
Insignificant Knick-Knacks: Knick-knacks can bring a nice touch to our space and hold fun memories, but do you have any that no longer add value and are only collecting dust? Consider deciding how many you wish to keep and only keep the most significant ones. The less you have, the more attention each one will get.
Old Notes from School: We might have thought that those old notes from school were going to be useful someday, but when was the last time you actually looked at them? Consider going through and recycling or deleting anything you know you won’t realistically use.
Bras that Don’t Fit: While this idea might seem a little random on today’s list, it must be discussed. Who wants to wear an uncomfortable bra? Many women are not sized properly when being fit for bras, which can cause discomfort and health issues. If you have any bras that just don’t fit right or are even painful to wear, consider decluttering them and getting resized.
Extra Decorative Bed Pillows: While decorative pillows can look nice and add visual appeal, resetting them every day adds an extra unneeded task. Consider keeping the ones that are your favorite, then declutter and donate the rest. Making your bed will be much easier and still look just as nice.
