5 Decluttering Ideas of the Week: December 7
Unused gift cards: Who doesn’t love free money? Make a plan to use up any gift cards you still have laying around, whether for yourself or even use them to give gifts to others in your life.
Unused exercise equipment: It’s always great to stay healthy and get some exercise, but sometimes the equipment you meant to use when you bought it goes untouched. If you don’t see yourself using it in the immediate future, consider donating it to people who will. If it's a larger item, some organizations will even come to pick up the item!
Chargers that don’t work anymore or are from old devices: If a charger isn’t usable anymore, there is no reason to let it take up space. Some chargers can work across different devices, but if that’s not the case, toss it.
Broken jewelry: Why keep something you can’t wear? If you’re not realistically going to get it fixed, it’s probably best to get rid of it.
Expired food: Leaving expired food in the fridge leaves less room for more fresh food and in some cases uses up needed containers. Toss out anything that’s gone bad.
